Mr. Masroor Omar is a senior banking professional with nearly three decades of experience in consumer banking, distribution, bancassurance, and strategic planning. He currently serves as Country Head – Consumer Banking Division at Askari Bank, overseeing the full suite of consumer products (cards, personal finance, auto and mortgage loans), portfolio revenue, digitalization initiatives, and relationships with local and international payment schemes. Previously, he led distribution and wealth management initiatives, spearheaded liability growth teams, managed bancassurance partnerships, and contributed to strategic projects including the setup of Askari Bank’s first asset management company. He holds a BBA (Hons.) with bi-majors in Finance and Marketing.
