Kidney disease is a growing public health challenge, and timely access to dialysis can make the difference between life and loss.

Dialysis is a life sustaining treatment for patients with kidney failure, helping to remove waste, salt, and excess water from the body when the kidneys can no longer function adequately. Unfortunately, many individuals especially those from underprivileged communities lack access to this essential care.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community health and welfare, PMRC is proud to partner with The Kidney Centre through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. We are honored to support their mission by donating a dialysis machine that will aid in providing critical, life-saving treatment to patients in need.

This contribution reflects our dedication to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and supporting institutions that deliver compassionate and equitable care to all, regardless of financial means.

We extend our appreciation to The Kidney Centre for their continued service to the community, and we look forward to supporting more initiatives that create lasting impact.

In collaboration with the Fatimid Foundation, PMRC organized a Blood Donation Drive to support Thalassemia patients and raise awareness about the life-saving importance of blood donation.

Each donor’s contribution is a reminder that kindness and compassion can heal communities.

Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company (PMRC) has generously donated to the Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP), demonstrating a commitment to championing the cause of individuals facing Down Syndrome, particularly those with limited resources. KDSP, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to instilling hope in the lives of those affected by Down Syndrome, and PMRC’s donation serves as a stride towards fostering positive change within this community

PMRC has generously contributed to the Million Smiles Foundation on 10^th August 2023, directed towards the education of underprivileged children. The foundation’s mission is to ensure equitable access to cost-effective vocational training, eliminate gender and wealth inequalities, and attain universal access to high-quality higher education. We aspire to align with their mission by providing financial support to enhance their resources and assist in achieving their objectives

PMRC being a responsible organization, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has extended financial assistance to the Kidney Center. This assistance aims to bolster the Kidney Centre’s ability to offer critical medical services and support to those in need. Through its generous donation, PMRC actively contributes to the advancement of sustainable and compassionate communities, and makes a significant impact in the lives of individuals who require financial aid.”

Last year, due to the heaviest rainfall on record; vast swaths of Pakistan were inundated. Hundreds of thousands of lives were become homeless as most of the villages/houses were washed away along with schools, colleges and livestock. With more than one-third of Pakistan affected by flooding, millions of people were in need of food, shelter and medical care. Many international aid agencies and local organizations had provided assistance along with the Government to these homeless people of the Country.

PMRC being the socially responsible Company have been donating through the NGOs to the underprivileged in the past. Last year as well, below mentioned three NGOs were approached the Company to contribute and help the poor and needy people of the Country who were severely affected due to devastation:

PMRC donated one million each in order to support the underprivileged of the Country in their testing times.

During the year, PMRC had also made donations of Rs. 500,000 to SOS Children’s village; a social welfare organization which provides homes to orphans and abandoned children.

Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company (PMRC) has donated PKR 3.5 million to the Prime Minister’s Corona Relief Fund 2020, as part of our civic duty to the nation in its fight against the pandemic. Additionally, we are proud to announce that our employees have also contributed to the fund to their best capacity. Therefore, we at PMRC, aim to provide maximum support to the underprivileged population of Pakistan in these testing times.

In 2019, PMRC donated PKR 500,000 to TCF to fund a classroom for the Academic Session from 2019 to 2020.

SOS Village is a social welfare organisation providing homes to orphans and abandoned children. PMRC has happily made a donation of PKR 400,000 to the SOS foundation to extend the financial and operational capacity of SOS to fulfil their mission.
