Job Title: Head of Legal

Job Description:
• Oversee legal agreements/ documents relating to the Company’s business (mortgage refinancing and bond issuance etc, including Islamic Business and Sukuk) so that the Company’s legal interest is protected.
• Oversee prepare/draft/vet legal agreements/documents relating to the Company’s business in collaboration with external law firm (mortgage refinancing and bond issuance etc. including Islamic Business and Sukuk).
• Oversee and carry out vetting of legal documents/agreements for the Company’s internal departments including employee loan agreements/policies/procedures/manuals etc.
• Vetting of contracts for employment as well as engagement agreements/contracts of vendors for protecting the Company’s interest.
• Ensure/conduct annual and ad hoc legal reviews of the mortgage loans provided as security and review of mortgage loan documentation.
• Provide legal opinions as required for refinancing and other agreements including with the Company’s customers, vendors, shareholders, international agencies, and governments.
• Advise the Company on all legal issues relating to both business and non-business matters.
• Ensure compliance of all requirements, documents, and proposals in accordance with SBP, SECP, PSX, Company, and all other applicable laws and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings to finalize financing/refinancing and other commercial/legal arrangements.
Eligibility:
Qualification: At least LLB (Preferably LLM) from reputed HEC recognized Institute.
Experience: At least 12 years of experience in handling Corporate/Banking/ Financial Institution’s Legal Matter
